RETA Roundtable
Add to calendar
Background information
Since its launch in 2021, the Regulatory Energy Transition Accelerator (RETA) has served as a platform for energy regulators to collaborate, share best practices, and receive tailored support to accelerate regulatory decarbonisation. Following the success of the first RETA Roundtable in March 2024, the RETA Administrator, hosted at the International Energy Agency (IEA), is pleased to invite regulators, delivery partners, and key stakeholders to its second edition.
This roundtable will provide an opportunity to discuss pressing challenges, exchange insights, and shape a shared vision for RETA’s future. The outcomes of these discussions will be instrumental in defining RETA’s long-term strategy and strengthening global regulatory collaboration.
Objectives
The roundtable will be structured over two days:
- Day 1 will focus on identifying the most pressing challenges faced by energy regulators and showcasing innovative solutions already in practice. These discussions will set the foundation for strategic planning on Day 2.
- Day 2 will shift towards defining priorities, exploring technical support opportunities, and reaching consensus on RETA’s future role. The event will conclude with a closed session for the Steering Committee to establish a roadmap for long-term collaboration, governance, and resource mobilisation.
Please be aware that attendance is strictly by invitation only. For more details regarding participation, please reach out to: [email protected]
