Important message for WDS users

The IEA has discontinued providing data in the Beyond 2020 format (IVT files and through WDS). Data is now available through the .Stat Data Explorer, which also allows users to export data in Excel and CSV formats.

USD 750 million for clean hydrogen technologies

In March 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy earmarked USD 750 million for research, development, and demonstration activities aiming at reducing the cost of hydrogen produced through electrolysis. The financial assistance awards are in the form of cooperative agreements for 2 to 5 years.This funding is the first call under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which allocates USD 1 billion for activities reducing the cost of clean hydrogen produced via electrolysis and USD 500 million for manufacturing and recycling clean hydrogen systems and materials.
